We were blown away by the views in this village. Dinner in the FBI, walking around the local area and coastal walks further afield. The Old Brewhouse was a great find. We would love to come back. Claire & Chris, West Hampstead, London. September 09 What a lovely time in The Old Brewhouse. We have been to Dittisham many times with the children for a break each year, and this time was perfect. The location could not be better, being able to reserve lunch at the Cafe, (the crab and lobster not to be missed) as well as the children being able to reach the pontoon in seconds! We have watched The Old Brewhouse transform and we were not disappointed, everything we wanted was here and it really was a comfortable and fun place to stay, (and we have stayed in a few (not so plush) places in the village!). We also found a new restaurant, 'The Apprentice' and loved it including our very fussy 11 year old! Good place to visit is the Dart River Country Park, outdoor fun for the children but in a very natural beautiful surroundings. Love the house, the village and hope to be back very soon. The Evans's , Oxford August 09 A fantastic holiday for 2 little boys!! Crabbing on the pontoon - amazing. Wet suits and big waves at Blackpool Sands a favourite.
